Parkview wins second straight 6A crown

Emmanuel Adoyi's 26 points and 13 rebounds -- including a put-back with four seconds left to send the game to a second overtime -- helped Little Rock Parkview to a 69-65 victory over Jonesboro for their second consecutive Class 6A title.

After being held to 18.2-percent shooting the first half, Little Rock Parkview shot 53.8-percent in the second half to pull away from Russellville 50-31 and win the Class 6A girls' state basketball championship. Erin Peoples was named MVP with 20 points and eight rebounds in the game,

Leading 25-21 coming out of halftime, Earle started the second half on a 15-2 run to put away Charleston and win the Class 3A boys basketball state championship with a XX-XX victory. NAME was awarded the tournament's Most Valuable Player, finishing the game with XX points.
