ARPreps.com's David Harten and the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette break down the Class 7A state semifinals and look ahead to the finals in Hot Springs next week.

Led by Janeka Watkins game-high 34 points, England outlasted East Poinsett County 62-58 for their second consecutive Class 2A girls' state basketball championship. Watkins was named Most Valuable Player.

England wins second-straight Class 2A state title

Fayetteville outscored Fort Smith Southside 28-13 in the third quarter en route to a 76-54 victory in the Class 7A state semifinals at Cabot. Tyler McCullough had a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds in the win.
