Jeremy Price's Red'Dogs handed Rogers High a 19-point loss on the road, and the Lady Red'Dogs edged a solid Lady Mounties club. Edwin Aquino led Springdale's boys with 14 points, his second consecutive league game in double figures after no-such games in his first five. Carl Fitch added 12 in the win. Lady Red'Dogs sophomore Marquesha Davis scored a team-high 10 points in Friday's win. Heather Hunsucker and Jeremy Price's young teams hit bumps in the road last week in 7A-West play.

The Lady Red'Dogs dropped their first two games in conference to Bentonville and Van Buren. Springdale led the Lady Tigers by as many as nine points in the fourth quarter, but Lauren Hargus, Krista Clark and Avery Hughes took control in the final five minutes.

Springdale then held Van Buren's star guard Jamilyn Kinney to nine points, but Lani Snowden scored a game-high 16 points in a 58-38 Lady Pointers win Friday.

Springdale forward Carl Fitch began his week with a 20-point effort in a loss … Continue Reading ››

Scott Bowlin's Wildcats are rolling. Har-Ber, 3-0 in the 7A-West, protected its homefloor against rival Springdale High and Bentonville High last week.

His club then traveled to central Arkansas and came back with an overtime win over Little Rock Christian. Har-Ber's winning streak has now reached seven games as week three of conference play begins.

First-year coach Jaime Green's Lady Wildcats are still in search of their first league win after another tough home loss Friday to Bentonville.

Springdale High capped the second week of 7A-West pay with a pair of big road wins at Bentonville West Friday.

Heather Hunsucker's Lady Red'Dogs continue to play well early on, and thanks large in part to Justin Bilyeu and Carl Fitch, the Red'Dogs stole a win on the road against the Wolverines.

Bilyeu scored 10 points in the fourth quarter Friday and knocked down a turn-around jumper with 3 seconds left to give Springdale a 39-38 win.

Marquesha Davis, again, tallied a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds in a runaway win over West. Through three games, the sophomore is averaging 19.6 … Continue Reading ››
