FAYETTEVILLE -- Bentonville dominated from the opening serve to sweep Fayetteville 25-19, 25-21, 25-21 on Tuesday. It was Lady Tigers' coach Michelle Smith's 300th career win, equaling the feat Lady Bulldogs coach Jessica Phelan achieved at Bentonville last season. Believe it or not, this one had plenty of defense... at least for a while.

Fayetteville forced FS Southside to punt on six of its first seven possessions and dominated the Rebels' strong run game the entire first half to set the tone. But the offenses took over after intermission and FS Southside simply couldn't keep up.
