saints-wolves-full-box There was no need to see the official statistics to know Shiloh Christian dominated every aspect of a 49-0 win against Lincoln at Wolfpack Stadium on Friday night.

The Saints racked up 393 yards with a nice balance of 215 passing and 178 rushing as compared to 134 for the Wolves, including 72 rushing and 62 passing.

Saints senior Connor Reece was an efficient 13-of-20 passing for 215 yards and three touchdowns. His to target was junior Jake Nelson, who caught five passes for 59 yards and two touchdowns.

Shiloh Christian coach Jeff Conaway is hopeful a top offensive lineman can play, but remains uncertain about his top two receivers heading into tonight’s game at Little Rock Christian. Senior center Chase Bowerman missed the season-opening, 35-22 win at Elkins after suffering an ankle injury in a preseason scrimmage at Springdale. Bowerman is a third-year starter and handles all the calls up front. Tyler Roth and Jake Nelson, who combined for more than 100 catches and nearly 2,000 yards in 2015, didn’t play against Elkins due to leg injuries.
