Rogers High Lady Mounties 2017 Season Preview

COACH: Aaron Crouch.

LAST YEAR’S RECORD: 9-11 overall, 6-8 7A-West.

KEY PERFORMERS: Sienna Nealon (Sr.), Leslie Barrales (Soph.), Rosy Orellana (Sr.), Kendal Bittick (Sr.), Mary Treacy (Sr.), Emily Castro (Sr.),
TOP NEWCOMERS: Mac Brace (Fresh.), Haley Arrick (Fresh.), Samantha Todd (Fresh.), Raquel Bujanda (Jr.), Maggie Folger (Fresh.). Syndey Figenskau (Sr.).

THE SKINNY: Aaron Crouch, who in his first year at Rogers and first season as a head coach, inherits a team that returns five starters. He’s hopeful a strong off-season program in the fall will help prevent some injuries that plagued the Lady Mounties a year ago. Crouch said his seniors have been good leaders and bought into some of his new ideas. Rogers opened the season with a 3-3 tie at Russellville on Thursday. Freshman Haley Arrick had 2 goals, while senior Sienna Nealon added a goal and two assists. Keeper Mac Brace also had four saves.
