Rogers Heritage sophomore Erol Banuelos works his way around the Bentonville defense on Friday, March 20, 2015, at David Gates Stadium in Rogers.

COACH: Christhian Saavedra.

LAST YEAR’S RECORD: 13-9 overall, 10-4 7A-West.

KEY PERFORMERS: Pedro Garcia (Sr.), Erol Banuelos (Sr.), Chris Cano (Jr.), Angel Castro (Sr.), Brian Pardo (Jr.), Charlie Hernandez (Jr.).

TOP NEWCOMERS: Victor Calderon (Fresh.).

THE SKINNY: The War Eagles lost just three varsity players from a team that finished second in the 7A-West. Heritage isn’t the most physical team, but relies on quickness, organization and discipline to be successful. The dynamic duo of Pedro Garcia and Erol Banuelos gives the War Eagles some offensive firepower up top. Midfielders Chris Cano and Brayan Burciaga should also give great support.
