Defensive push helps propel PA

One long stretch of good defense by Pulaski Academy was enough to give the Bruins a 50-38 victory over host North Pulaski on Tuesday night in Jacksonville. Pulaski Academy (5-3, 1-0 5ACentral ) held North Pulaski scoreless for almost eight minutes, from early in the third quarter and into the fourth quarter. The Falcons (7-5, 0-1 ) trailed 24-20 at halftime, but tied the game at the 6:43 mark of the third quarter before going on a scoring drought.
