The defense stepped up after Van Buren opened up a 25-14 lead. In the second half, the War Eagles defense posted a shutout.
Why The Pointers lost
The Pointers could not keep up with the War Eagles' offensive onslaught in the second half. Van Buren had just one first down in the third period and committed two turnovers in the second half.
