The Batesville Pioneers controlled the line of scrimmage and played keep-away from Pulaski Academy, dealing the Bruins a 40-21 defeat in the Class 5A state semifinals Friday in Little Rock.

Batesville eliminates Pulaski Academy

Batesville advanced to the Class 5A state finals with a 40-21 victory over Pulaski Academy. They'll face Camden Fairview in the finals next week. (By Daniel Krupsaw)
