EDITOR’S NOTE: This is the first of three stories on Northwest Arkansas schools whose athletic teams will move up and participate in a higher classification next season. Today’s story focuses on Lincoln.
New will be a common expression throughout this town’s high school campus in the fall.
BY THE NUMBERS
3 — number of public schools in Class 4A with a lesser average number of students than Lincoln in the 2012-14 reclassification cycle
23 — number of students Lincoln added from the 2010-12 reclassification cycle to the 2012-14 cycle
295 — average number of students at Fountain Lake, the largest Class 3A school
296 — average number of students at Dover, the smallest public school in Class 4A
302.67 — average number of students in grades 9-11 at Lincoln during the 2008-10 span
483.33 — average number of students at Monticello, the largest Class 4A school
