ATHLETE BRINGS EXPERIENCE TO CONTEST
Jessica Boyd will do her best to treat the Arkansas high school heptathlon as just another competition when the two-day event begins today at Hot Springs High School.

When: Wednesday, Thursday
Notable: Events begin at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, resume at 10 a.m. Thursday ... First day events, in order, are 110-meter high hurdles, long jump, discus and 200 meters ... Events on the second day are high jump, shot put and 800 meters ... Defending champion Monisa Poole of Nashville is scheduled to compete again this year.
