PITCHER EARNS CONFERENCE VICTORY
Lynn Lawson’s decision to start Hannah Bender in the circle paid off . Bender, a senior who had been Springdale Har-Ber’s go-to pitcher on the softball diamond for the fi rst three years of her career, hadn’t started a 7A-West Conference game this season prior to Thursday.
