Top-ranked Bentonville at Springdale this week

LITTLE ROCK — None of Arkansas' top 10 teams play each other this week, but as usual, Class 7A's West conference includes some intriguing matchups.

No. 1 Bentonville (8-0, 5-0) plays at dangerous Springdale (4-4, 2-3) on Friday night, and Fort Smith Northside (6-2, 4-1) hosts Rogers (3-5, 1-4). Northside is tied for No. 9 in the state but is coming off a loss to Bentonville.

In 6A South, Texarkana (3-5, 3-2) hosts Lake Hamilton (5-3, 4-1) in a rematch of last year's state title game. Lake Hamilton, the runner-up a year ago, is No. 3 in 6A this week.
