Lincoln football coach Brad Harris was named Monday as the defensive coordinator at Class 6A Benton.
Harris led Lincoln to its most successful season in program history last fall, posting an 11-2 record as the Wolves advanced to the third round of the Class 4A state playoffs before losing to eventual state champion Booneville.
Harris, who also serves as the Lincoln baseball coach, will finish out the baseball season before moving to Benton he said last week.
Harris’ son, Drew, will also make the move to Benton. Last fall Drew Harris accounted for 1,800 yards passing and 800 yards rushing for the Wolves. He will be a senior in the fall.
