Springdale Har-Ber’s Tylor Perry is a human highlight reel, but it was his game-winning layup in overtime that earned the sophomore point guard ARPreps.com Athlete of the Week honors.
Perry drove the left side of the lane and put the shot off the glass with 2.7 seconds remaining to lift the Wildcats to a 67-65 win on Friday and sole possession of first place in the 7A-West Conference standings. Perry led all scorers with 25 points and was instrumental in helping Har-Ber battle back from a 17-point third quarter deficit.

Marquesha Davis, Springdale High, had 19 points and dished out the winning assist to Haley Dougan in a victory against Bentonville that vaulted the Lady Red’Dogs into third place in the conference standings.
Haley Dougan, Springdale High, hit the winning shot — a 3-pointer from from the top of the key — as time expired in a 64-61 win over Bentonville on Tuesday. The Lady Red’Dogs trailed 57-51 with 3:50 remaining and were down 54-47 with 5:25 remaining. Dougan finished with 15 points.

Caleb Finney, Fayetteville, scored 27 points at Rogers Heritage on Tuesday to lead the Purple’Dogs to their third straight victory.
Jack Hutchinson, Shiloh Christian, had 37 points and 7 rebounds in a 72-58 victory over Gentry on Friday. The win moved the Saints up to the No. 5 seed for this week’s 4A-1 Conference Tournament.
Maci Mains, Springdale Har-Ber, had 20 points to lead the Lady Wildcats to a key 59-47 victory over Bentoville.
Makenna Vanzant, Farmington, averaged 20.5 points in the Lady Cardinals’ wins over Russelville and Alma. The freshman scored eight of her game-high 24 points in overtime to lead a 58-54 win over Alma on Friday.
Matt Wilson, Farmington, scored 44 points and 31 points in the Cardinals’ wins over Russelville and Alma. The senior guard is leading the state in scoring with nearly 31 points per game.
