There was no need to see the official statistics to know Shiloh Christian dominated every aspect of a 49-0 win against Lincoln at Wolfpack Stadium on Friday night.
The Saints racked up 393 yards with a nice balance of 215 passing and 178 rushing as compared to 134 for the Wolves, including 72 rushing and 62 passing.
Saints senior Connor Reece was an efficient 13-of-20 passing for 215 yards and three touchdowns. His to target was junior Jake Nelson, who caught five passes for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
Junior I’Juan Litzsey finsihed with a team-high 60 yards rushing on five carries, including a 52-yard touchdown that created the final margin midway through the second quarter.
Pat Williams, wearing Jake Oelke’s No. 86, was a perfect 7 of 7 on PATs.
Although defensive statistics are not listed on this box score, Jake Lotspeich and Preston Hall tied for the team lead with seven tackles each. Hall had two sacks and two tackles for loss. Austin Hix had a tackle, a pass breakup and an interception. Ben Moore had two tackles and two pass breakups.
Even though the starters only played 14 minutes, Broc Berus and Cole Tutt each had six tackles. Berus had two tackles for loss and added an interception. Braden Mueller forced a fumble and had two pass breakups. Micah Button had four tackles and three pass breakups. Andrew Osbourne had five tackles, a sack, a tackle for loss and a quarterback pressure.
