Arkansas will host its seventh high school wrestling state tournament in a few weeks, but coaches are trying to see the sport take another step forward on Saturday.

The inaugural Arkansas Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association Class 6A-7A Dual State Tournament will be held at Van Buren.

The event is not sanctioned by the Arkansas Activities Association, but Springdale Har-Ber wrestling coach Nika West said he and others are hoping to see that change in the near future.
