With national signing day just around the corner on Feb. 1, we've got several exciting recruiting-related tweets to get to, so we're diving right into the other top tweets from the past week.

Besides, no one really reads all the usual jibber jabber blah blah blah that typically leads this thing off.

This week's ARPreps.com Tweet of the Week comes from Prairie Grove softball player Madison Brockman.

It's simple, but simply perfection. Well, other than the minor grammatical hiccup. (Madison, because your thief is unknown, it should be "whomever.")

But who (or is it whom?? smh) friggin' cares. This is Twitter, not English 101 … Continue Reading ››

Both the Cardinals and Lady Cardinals picked up a pair of wins last week, winning games at Greenwood and at home against Clarksville. The Farmington boys sit at 13-3 overall and 2-0 in 5A/6A district play. Senior guard Matt Wilson went for a school record 50 points in the win against Clarksville, just over a week after scoring 49 in a win against Siloam Springs. Wilson will need another big effort this week as Farmington visits Alma on Tuesday, another top contender in the 5A/6A District 1. The Cardinals then close out the week on Friday at Russellville. The Lady Cardinals also are … Continue Reading ››

Purple'Dogs Fayetteville starts 7A-West play 1-2 with the first three conference games all played in a span of five days. A win at Rogers High sandwiched between home losses to Bentonville West and Bentonville High is how the Purple'Dogs (6-9, 1-2 7A-West) head into this week's schedule and an important matchup sits up next. Fayetteville hosts Rogers Heritage on Tuesday. Both teams are 1-2 in league play, while many so-called experts might have expected these two to finish close to the top of the conference race. And while that could still happen, the winner of Tuesday's game might have the early leg … Continue Reading ››

Scott Bowlin's Wildcats are rolling. Har-Ber, 3-0 in the 7A-West, protected its homefloor against rival Springdale High and Bentonville High last week.

His club then traveled to central Arkansas and came back with an overtime win over Little Rock Christian. Har-Ber's winning streak has now reached seven games as week three of conference play begins.

First-year coach Jaime Green's Lady Wildcats are still in search of their first league win after another tough home loss Friday to Bentonville.
