Tweets of the Week: Stumbaugh sisters sizzle

Sibling shenanigans is the topic of this week's ARPreps.com Tweet of the Week. Springdale Har-Ber's do-everything track athlete Olivia Stumbaugh celebrated National Siblings Day by sharing a video of big sis Payton Stumbaugh, a four-time All-American sprinter at the University of Arkansas, apparently attacking her screaming lil' sis with bacon grease.

Hopefully, it wasn't hot outta the fryin' pan. On a side note, research has shown bacon grease, when used as a perfume, may help attract boys: Runner-Up Elkins … Continue Reading ››

7A-West Girls Soccer Report

Bentonville Bentonville had one streak broken last week, but the more important streak stayed alive.

The Lady Tigers allowed their first goal in 7A-West Conference play Thursday night against Rogers Heritage. Bentonville, however, had a 3-0 lead before it happened and won the match to remain unbeaten in league play, but that goal caught the Lady Tigers’ attention.

“It served as a wakeup call,” coach Kristina Henry said. “We fell asleep and looked away for a moment. All of a sudden, there was the ball and in the goal. We can not lose focus.”

Tweets of the Week: Hutchins Lucks Out, Again

Springdale High’s Layne Hutchins becomes our first back-to-back winner of the ARPreps.com Tweet of the Week (disclaimer: and it’s not just because we had lunch together.)

It’s also the first time we’ve had two tweets take the honor, but as readers will see below, both tweets together is what makes Hutchins extra lucky on St. Patrick’s Day.

Here’s the first …

And the second …
