AN BBH LINC MARRUFO FEATThe state championship push begins tomorrow for Class 4A and below baseball and softball teams as they open regional tournament play across the state.

A number of Northwest Arkansas teams will be in action starting at 10 a.m. and games will be played all day Friday. We haven't officially closed the books on the 2013-14 school year just yet. There are still several weeks left in the spring sports season, including regional and state tournaments. But football is in the air. Next week schools will start spring practices that will set in motion their plans for the fall. In the spring, anything is possible. Harris Leaving Lincoln

Lincoln football coach Brad Harris was named Monday as the defensive coordinator at Class 6A Benton. Harris led Lincoln to its most successful season in program history last fall, posting an 11-2 record as the Wolves advanced to the third round of the Class 4A state playoffs before losing to eventual state champion Booneville.
